Announcing the 2023 Summer Transcription Challenge!
The challenge is about to begin!
This year’s challenge includes:
The Dade County Tax Rolls from the 1800s
Creating an index for our quarterly bulletin, Heritage, for research use and inclusion in PERSI (Periodical Source Indexing). PERSI is a “premier subject index for genealogy and local history periodicals, and is produced by the staff of The Genealogy Center of the Allen County Public Library. This valuable resource provides more than 3.1 million citations to readily-available periodical sources.”

Summer Transcription Planning Meeting
A few of us will be meeting this Saturday, August 5, from 2:30-5pm at the Pinecrest Library to plan the details for our upcoming Summer Transcription Challenge.
